CORTIS took over the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles for their exclusive iHeartRadio LIVE show, and it was an evening full of amazing performances, epic dance movies, and so much more.

The K-Pop group, who recently released their COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES EP, performed songs from the project, including "GO!," "JoyRide," "What You Want," and "FaSHiON." But the guys also sat down with iHeartRadio's JoJo to talk about COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, where their band name comes from, their musical influences and so much more.

CORTIS explained of COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, "These five songs are what explains us, and these five songs really represent us in a very authentic way. It's stripped down, it's very simple, but at the same time it's very honest. So that's our focus in this album is just authenticity, rawness, and how we share our story." They added, "It's a true reflection of who we are at the moment and 2024 summer when we were in LA. And so working on the album, I feel like our lifestyle is really just in the album and it's like a journal. We really just treated it like that."

As for where they got their band name came from, the guys shared that it's actually intertwined with their EP's title. They shared, "There's a phrase called 'Color outside the lines.' I bet y'all know it because it's our first EP title. It means to do things in unconventional ways and break the mold and think outside the box — just have fun in general. And I feel like that phrase best represented us, and we took six random alphabets from the phrase and put it together as CORTIS. And that's how the name came out."

The guys also shared some advice they got from BTS' J-Hope, recalling, "We had a very lucky chance to meet both groups [BTS and TXT]. They're amazing. When we met BTS, J-Hope actually told us to stay humble and never take things for granted, and just enjoy the journey at the same time. And he really cheered us on a lot. And yeah, he's a great person, man."

CORTIS also opened some fan questions that were submitted via iHeartRadio's Talkback feature, and while answering a question from a fan from Atlanta, Georgia, they revealed that they have already started working a second album! The guys were asked about a moment that they've had that they felt like they were "truly breaking from from the normal," and they shared, "since I've been working on the second album..." And then quickly followed up with, "It's not coming soon, so please chill. But since we've been working on the second album and a lot of songs, and we've been in the studio every night, I think we're trying hard to experiment. Different kind of genres and mix up at times. Just trying different kind of vocal tones and just flows and everything, melodies. That is something that is unconventional, unusual."

Fans can listen to performances from iHeartRadio LIVE on iHeartKPOP with JoJo at 7pm ET/4pm PT on Sunday, October 26th via the free iHeartRadio app, as well as iHeartRadio pop stations across the country. Until then, check out CORTS' performance of "GO!" from their iHeartRadio LIVE show below.
