Paula Murray rented a car from Hertz back in 2016. She turned it in like normal and never gave it another thought until 2021 when she was arrested at her JOB as a dispatcher for the police.
Turns out Paula is now more than 230 who have filed a huge lawsuit against Estero, FL Hertz rentals.
Hertz says every YEAR they file over 3,000 stolen car reports against customers. Go back to 2016, 7 years ago, it it totals over 23,000 people who may not know they have a warrant outstanding.
So far Hertz is the only company, to our knowledge, who has had this kind of backlash.
