Every member of a school board in California has resigned after being caught making fun of parents in a Zoom meeting they thought was private.
But the Oakley Union Elementary School District’s meeting was public and they could be heard using profanity while insulting and even threatening parents concerned about when schools would reopen.
The members all resigned after complaints and a petition signed by thousands
Another board member,Kim Beede, ironically asks, “Are we alone?” then she continues talking about a specific parent, saying, “B***h, if you’re going to call me out, I’m going to f**k you up.”
As they continue venting and mocking, member Richie Masadas jokes that parents want their kids back in school so they can go back to smoking pot at home. The best part? Board members realized their meeting was open to the public and switched it to private, but the damage was already done.
