Man Who Mailed Fake Bomb To IRS Once Sent Severed Finger

If you're going to do stupid things like sending a severed finger to a government agency, maybe don't use one with your own fingerprints.  Especially if you're going to put those prints all over a fake bomb later.

But I'm not a criminal mind, so what do I know?

This week, a man from Olympia, Washington, was charged for allegedly mailing a fake bomb to the IRS earlier this year--and prosecutors claim the man pulled a similar stunt last year when he sent the IRS a severed finger. 

According to FOX News, 68-year-old Norman Lariviere admitted to investigators that he cut off his own digit to pull the prank, showing agents "the homemade device he utilized to perform the action." He also sent the IRS a marijuana joint and a bullet last year, which was all part of his campaign against the agency that began after he was laid off from his job as a civil defense contractor in the 1990s.
