Check Out Peter Frampton's New 'Frampton Stays Inside!' Pandemic Merch

Peter Frampton has unveiled a clever new T-shirt that plays on the coronavirus pandemic and the title of his groundbreaking 1976 double-album Frampton Comes Alive.

The new shirt depicts the iconic photo of Frampton from the Comes Alive album cover, but with a blue medical mask over his face. The album title is replaced with the phase Frampton Stays Inside!

The back of the shirt is emblazoned with the words 'Shelter In Place House Tour 2020' with the dates February, March, April and May all taking place respectively in the 'Living Room, Kitchen, Laundry Room and Backyard.'

Frampton's online store has also been stocking Frampton-themed masks.

A portion of the proceeds from sales are to be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Frampton is in the midst of his retirement tour as he contends with advancing inclusion-body myositis, a rare degenerative muscle disorder that he expects will eventually rob him of his ability to play the guitar.

The legendary guitarist concluded his U.S. tour last fall. He was slated to tour the U.K. and Europe in May, but the trek has been canceled due to the pandemic.

Frampton's Do You Feel Like I Do? memoir is set to arrive October 20.
