Mississippi casinos will be closed at midnight tonight until further notice

Mississippi casinos will be closed until further notice at midnight tonight as we all work to prevent the spread of Covid-19. This comes after the CDC’s advisory to enforce social distancing and the Trump administration’s announcement that the public should avoid crowds of more than 10 people.

Most casinos are not taking hotel reservations. It is up to the casino to determine about hotel stays.

The Gaming Commission could not say when gaming in Mississippi will resume.

However, this notice from MGC does not affect casinos on tribal land. Pearl River Resort, Bok Homa Casino, and the Golden Moon Hotel and Casino will continue to stay open until further notice from Choctaw officials.
