Those rumors about Bruce Springsteen going back to Australia are true. The rocker confirms that he'll be taking the E Street Band "down under" early next year for the group's most extensive run through the region.
Bruce launched his 2013 tour with two shows in Sydney back in March. Springsteen's manager Jon Landau says the band's eight Australian concerts were "among the very best and most satisfying" of the entire "Wrecking Ball" tour, and the moment the band finished the trek they knew they wanted to return.
The 2014 tour includes a stop in Auckland, marking the group's first appearance in New Zealand in more than ten years. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will kick off the trek on February 7th with their first-ever performance in Perth, and follow that show with their concert debut in Adelaide on February 11th.
The group will also visit Melbourne, Sydney, Hunter Valley, and Brisbane. However. Springsteen's Australian tour announcement gives no indication that further tour plans, such as a run through North America, are in the works.
